Jacketed Valve which we use in Sulfur application it is called by the name of Sulfur Valve. Standard design jacketed ball valve and sulfur jacketed valve both are the same the difference is only application.

Sulfur Jacketed Valve design standard confirms to ASME B 16.34 & ISO 17292 (BS 5351) and testing standard as per API 598 & BS 6755 – II. Flange Dimensions as per ANSI B 16.5 150# to 600# / DIN PN 6 to PN 100 / JIS / IS Standard.

Switzer manufacture and supplying of Full Jacketed FJK80/81 Series Molten Sulfur – Sulphur Jacketed Ball Valves with flanged end connection being used to maintain fluid temperature during an operation to keep fluids at a lower viscosity to operate the valve easy, smooth and long-life. Standard Sulphur Jacketed Ball Valves are delivered in Carbon Steel and a variety of Stainless Steel materials.

Molten Sulphur Jacketed Ball Valves have many advantages when installed in molten Sulphur applications. These include efficient heat transfer, assured operatable and a cavity free design which allows for extended services to valves.

Sulphur Jacketed Ball Valve body design is change by adding one size higher flanges to allow enough space for bolting clearance after jacket fabricated on valve body.

Partial Half Jacketed Sulfur Valve also manufacture by Switzer. Depends on choice Jacket material it is available in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel both materials. Mostly case user go with carbon steel jacket to save and money and the same direct not come in touch with any process media fluid.
